Parish Nurse Corner

When you lie down, you will not be afraid; when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet.” ~Proverbs 3:24

Sleep is essential for your well-being. It is necessary for the body to recharge its batteries, heal its wounds, and regroup for another day. We all need a slightly different amount of sleep, but we all need good quality rest. This means deep, uninterrupted sleep of at least 6 hours for adults, but preferably 8, and even more for children and teenagers. Without the right amount of sleep, we become short-tempered, quick to anger, and make poor decisions. Remember to say a bedtime prayer to set the stage for a long and deep sleep.

Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” ~Matthew 11:28.

Coffee Hour

coffee2The Parish Coffee Hour is held most Sundays following the 9:30 am Mass.

Baked goods are always welcome! There are usually 2 families who volunteer to host each Sunday. The first Sunday of the month is always hosted by the Prime Timers.If you would like to host a coffee hour please contact Mary Hynes
